1. The skeleton, usually zinc alloy, or aluminum alloy, some manufacturers are trying to use cheaper and lighter magnesium alloy. The skeleton is produced by die casting. A small number of manufacturers are still using steel sheet metal as the skeleton, and the structure is complex.
2. Foaming, the foaming material is generated in the foaming machine, and the skeleton is fixed in the foaming machine during production. The combination of 1 and 2 is the simplest steering wheel.
3. Some steering wheels require the outer skin to be sewn, which are generally sewn by workers in China.
4. Some steering wheels require wood, use a special machine to stack the wood chips one by one and finally paint them,
5. The wood of some steering wheels is replaced by fake wood. The fake wood is generally made of PP, ABS and other plastic injection molding, and then watermarked.

6. There will be mounting clips or screw holes corresponding to the main driver airbag DAB on the steering wheel
7. Some steering wheels require horn contacts. A simpler way is to press the horn contacts into the skeleton. Another way is to make a horn contact module and integrate a part of the electrical wiring harness and circuit board on it.
8. Some steering wheels require switches, which are mainly located on both sides of the spoke shell or the main airbag. The functions are generally radio, acceleration and deceleration, cruise, sound, answering the phone, etc. The steering wheel should not only provide installation clips, but also provide wiring harness interfaces.
9. There is usually a multi-function switch module or paddle shift under the steering wheel. At this time, the electrical connection needs to be considered.
