The so-called emergency means that the steering wheel is out of control or the steering wheel is out of control. When the driver turns the steering wheel, the front wheel does not move, and the steering wheel can no longer function.
The reasons for the loss of steering control may be due to the vehicle driving too fast, fatigue, slippery roads in rain and snow, and poor vehicle conditions.
The correct way to deal with the loss of steam direction is:
1. The driver should not panic, and should immediately release the accelerator pedal gently to make the motor vehicle drive in a low-speed gear, and tighten the hand brake evenly and forcefully;
2. If the speed of the vehicle is significantly decreasing, then step on the foot brake to stop the vehicle gradually. If the vehicle is driving at high speed, especially when the front and rear wheels are not in a straight line, use the hand brake to decelerate first, and then step on the emergency brake;
3. At this time, other vehicles and pedestrians should also be given emergency signals, such as turning on emergency flashing lights, honking the horn, and making gestures. Emergency braking must not be used immediately to avoid overturning.
4. It is also not allowed to slide in low gear or depress the clutch, so that it is impossible to use the engine braking power to decelerate.
5. For a vehicle equipped with power steering, if it is suddenly found that the steering is difficult, or the engine suddenly shuts down, the driver can still achieve the steering at this time, but the operation is very laborious.
